Tests include GSM verification (actual weight vs. specified weight), shrinkage after washing (must stay under 3-5% for retail), colorfastness (ISO 105 standards - sweat, wash, and rubbing), pilling resistance (fleece must score Grade 3+ on the Martindale test), and dimensional stability. Fabric rolls that fail any test are rejected and re-sourced before cutting begins.
